The second part of this is the ad spend.  The ad spend is what goes straight to Google to make the ads run. I take care of all of this for you. But how much this costs depends on how many calls you want and whether you’re in a big city, a medium-sized city or a smallish city.

For most markets, you should budget at least:

  • $35/day in ad spend. This is usually enough to reach most people in a typical service area for most dog daycare businesses, groomers and boarding kennels. (In total for all three). In very competitive markets, it may require a bit more. We’ll be able to tell exactly once we start running your campaigns. Google tells us what “search impression share” (market share) we’re able to buy up. We want to get as close to 100% as possible because there is a multiplier effect that gives you more bang for your buck.

The math makes sense if your average lifetime customer value (how much you make from each client) is at least $1,000. Even better if it’s $5,000– which seems to be a fairly reasonable expectation if you’re keeping clients. Especially if you have other services (in-home pet sitting, dog walking, etc…) to upsell.

 

When factoring lifetime customer value– most pet industry business owners need to sign only one or two clients to cover the entire investment– and everything else for the month is “gravy”

    4. You must have a good reputation in your city. Everything we do together will not only be bringing you more customers, sales, and profits, but we’ll be doing it in a way that creates MASSIVE goodwill in your market.

And in order for us to do that, you need to have your act together.

In other words, you need to be legit. If you’re living in your van eating ramen noodles every night… this isn’t for you.
